ACP does not
ask employees or independent consultants to sign a long-term,
restrictive non-compete contract.
The reason?
From time to
time a customer may suggest that they’d like to hire an ACP
consultant on a permanent basis. When that happens, we meet
with the customer and the consultant separately to determine if
it would be mutually advantageous for both and then work out a
transition plan to make it happen. No fees, no hassles.
The only minor
binding language in our agreements is that the consultant may
not consult with the same customer for a period of six months
following completion of their assignment through us.
We may be the only consulting firm
that operates this way, but we feel it’s the best way to maintain
our solid relationships with both our customers and consultants. That
way, everyone is very happy.
